Festival of the Arts Draws Big Crowds
Volunteers Meet the Test
The Second Annual Phoenix Festival of the Arts on December 13, 14, and 15th was held under sunny skies and balmy weather. A crowd estimated at 7,500 listened to bands, drank beer, bought art, and most importantly, crowded around the Radio Phoenix booth to try their luck on the "Wheel of Fortune." The most popular prize by far was the "shout out" to be played the week of December 22 to 28. In all, some 20 Radio Phoenix volunteers participated in the three day event, organized by volunteer coordinators Jeanne Frieden and Dena Fox.
